Org. Chart Review

Post Intention:
If you are following the given order of the posts, we’ve introduced the year end review and needing KPIs/Metrics to have data to determine what you need to review and plan for. We are going to move into reviewing the people in our business (or that of our client’s businesses), specifically in relation to the organizational chart.

Starter Copy:

As a business owner, it’s important to take a step back every once in a while and consider the three operational realms that are constantly at play in your company: people, processes, and technology. Each one requires reflection in order to maintain a sustainable level of growth.

Let’s look at the people in your business, specifically your team.

As you review the different areas of your business this year’s end, do you have the right people in the right roles, with the correct responsibilities?

Perhaps:
You have a great team, but you may be wondering if everyone is in the right role to best utilize their strengths? Maybe someone would be better suited for a different task that would play more to their strengths?
Things are falling through the cracks and team members may find themselves doing things outside of their scope just to make sure projects are completed on time.

Whatever your answers to these questions, when you review your organizational design chart and map of your current day organization you can make the necessary adjustments accordingly.

You can:
Make sure you have the people who will take care of all the tasks that you do not want to hold onto.
Create an action plan to fill vacant roles for the expectations you have yet to meet.
