Communication Tips for Remote Teams

Post Intention:
The intention of this post is to share some tech tools that you know work well with remote teams as an operations expert. This will be a direct call to action to support CEOs if they are looking for help with tech tools.

Starter Copy:

If you have been following along, yesterday I mentioned that I would share some communication tips and tools that I use to help optimize remote teamwork in some of my client’s businesses.

First up, video conferencing!

If you want to make your video calls feel more personal, you can try out tools like:

Google Meet
Microsoft Teams

These platforms offer features like virtual backgrounds and screen sharing, so you can keep things fun and productive.

Next, collaboration tools can help your team stay organized and on track:

Google Docs

These are all great options that allow team members to work together in real time. This means that everyone can see changes as they happen and collaborate on projects more efficiently.

But wait, there’s more! Messaging tools (ones that are not built into a project management system) can help a team chat about a current project:

Some slack channels businesses use are
#rescue-me (for when the team gets stuck)

Using these tools strategically will help build trust among your remote team members so everyone can feel connected and engaged.

Send Off:
Non-promotional (perhaps in a group or if you don’t want a direct call to action):
What tools are you and your team currently using?

What tools that you’ve learned about today are you looking to explore?

Promotional (posting to your page, group, or profile; direct, promotional call to action):
As an operations expert, I can help you set up and manage all of these tools so that you can focus on running your business.

If you need support on this, feel free to comment below with “next steps” and I will reach out to talk about how we might be able to support you!

Ask your followers to share their own tips for remote teamwork and communication. You could create a poll or a question sticker and encourage people to share their own experiences and insights.

Note: Be sure to insert into the copy any specific offer/promotion/resource that you have in your business pertaining to this topic (i.e masterclass, freebie, live training, service/product. Make the copy more unique to you and how you can support your current and prospective clients!
